Exercising to lose weight
In order to lose weight, you need to use up more energy than your body takes in from food and drink.
This can be done through consuming fewer calories or burning calories through increase exercise. - Use the stairs instead of the lift
- Get off the bus/tube a stop early and walk the extra
- If you work in a large building, use the toilets on a different floor!
- Go for a walk at lunchtime
- Instead of lunching suggest going for a walk in the park with friends
- Don't sit when you can stand - it burns more calories!
