Getting the balance right
Healthy eating for weight loss means eating the right balance and a suitable amount of food.
Just by getting the balance right you will probably reduce your total calorie intake as you will be eating better quality foods with less fat and sugar. To be certain that you're on the road to weight loss success, make sure that your meals are based on the right proportions:
- 1/3 Fruit & Vegetables
- 1/3 Bread, potatoes and cereals
- 1/3 A combination of meat, fish and alternatives ie nuts, dairy and pulses
