What are the symptoms of Flu
Flu (influenza) is a condition that affects the lungs and upper respiratory airways. It is a common, sometimes severe, seasonal disease with debilitating symptoms. It usually occurs during the winter months from October to April.
Flu symptoms are often confused with that of a cold, and many refer to a heavy cold as flu. Viruses cause them both but flu affects the lungs much more causing, nausea, fever, aches and pains, dry coughs and a stuffy nose.
If you are unfortunate enough to catch Flu you may end up in bed for several days, affecting your work schedule, family life and social commitments.
